Clip Y actually removes points, and the resultant data set gets compressed into the "empty holes". Is that essentially correct? It seems to have worked that way. If so, I may not have been the only one caught - maybe a warning in the dialog would be appropriate?
Does "Remove Random Spikes" work the same way, ie, compressing the data set where the spikes were removed?
Amplitude Limits might work better, but I would like to specify limits for individual curve sets. If I'm using multiple axes because I have a wide variation in amplitude between the data sets, Amplitude Limits does not allow me to define a limit that is useful.
So I guess I'm asking for a way to set Amplitude Limits by curve set(s), which will come in handy when more than 2 y-axes becomes available
