Digitizing an Existing Paper Graph

Post by mroberts@ndmce.com »

Has anyone developed or know of a method to somehow digitize or otherwise input an existing paper graph into DPlot? I would like to be able to use the interpolation function on something I only ahave a paper and PDF copy of - no formula for a basis to create a new graph. I've considered bringing it into AutoCAD and measuring from there.

Try http://digitizer.sourceforge.net/. It is free and works OK for me.

The ability to digitize existing plots would be a nice added feature for DPlot.

Please notice me if such a capability is added.

Thanks, --len

Don't hold your breath for this one - this is quite a different task than anything DPlot currently performs, and if I do develop something like this it will almost certainly be a separate product.
