Error bars in for the X-axis

Hi,

Did anyone knows how to insert error bars for data in the x-axis. This is very useful when you need to report error in your data in x-axis that are used (i.e. data) for calculating those in Y-axis. This feature is available in Excel so what about Dplot?

Thanks for allowing the "Horizontal Bars" for error bars, however what I was really hoping for was the ability to apply both x- and y-error bars to individual points or curves.

This is necessary when plotting experimental data for which there is a known/estimated uncertainty in both the dependent and independent variables.

The new option simply allows vertical or horizontal error bars, not both.

I've managed to work around this fairly simply, by just replotting all my data a second time with no markers or lines, then applying the horizontal error bars to these invisible data points. The overall appearance is good, however for future releases could you please allow both x- and y-error bars simultaneously?

When adding that feature the thought occurred to me to allow both vertical and horizontal bars, but I thought "Nah, who'd want that?"

I'm glad you found the workaround on your own. I'll add this one to the to-do list for next time.
