Excel Run time error
When plotting XYYY, EXCEL 2007 prompts a runtime error 453. Can't find DLL entry point DdeGetDataA in User32. Plot opens fine, but have to acknowledge before closing spreadsheet. Running WIN 10 on 64 bit PC. Just a nuisance.

Excel Conversion
I have a question about unit conversions. First, I have data which is recorded in hex and I'm tying to convert it to binary. If the hex number is numerical, excel treats it as an integer (1840). If it contains a letter (C08A) excel treats it as text. So I'm trying to create code that will find the f...

Large .csv files
All, Once again, the powers that be are dumping more and more data (1500 columns) into a .csv file. As you are aware, Excel cannot handle this much data. I only use a fraction of the data for analysis, but some of the information is past the 256th column. Does anyone have any suggested programs that...

I first tried to plot Lat as X and Long as Y. This gave me a error code (4008, I believe). I then tried time as X (got two lines as expected). The recording device records time in sexigesmal. So, I thought this format may be the problem (38:24:67.0). So, I took the decimal recorded lat /long and usi...

Lat/Long
I'm trying to overlay GPS coordinates over a Google Map similar to what is displayed on the features web page. The Lat/Longs are seperate columns and produce two seperate line instead of a blended solution. Referenced the manual with no luck. Tried XYYY and XYXY with no luck. Any suggestions?

David, unfortunately because of the sensitivity of the data I cannot provide the file. I believe that the problem exists because of the format of the data. If I don't select certain fields the error is not set. I'm trying to figure out what the data format is prior to decompression. Possible decompr...

Dplot error
We recieved a new .csv. When plotting XYYY the following error occurs. "DDEML error in DPlot_Plot8, code=0X4001". After hitting OK, Dplot appears to open the plots sucessfully until closing the file. Afterward, it opens Dplot again with no graphs. I'm not sure if it is Dplot error or is be...

It would be nice to be able to select multiple arrows when using notes. As an example, use two arrows from the text to point out magnitude over time.

CoN
David, did Judy ever send you the certificate of networthiness? She also mentioned that there was one more piece of paper work that needed processing: some security form. Anyway, let me know if she hasn't sent it and I'll press her to send it. The entire team is pleased with your product and it's ni...

Certificate of Networthiness
David, If you remember, I emailed you about the US Army's requirement for a Cetificate of Networthiness (CoN) in order to use your software on their computers. What I did not know is that the Government has to request a CoN, not the software companies. Our Regiment is preparing to start the effort t...

David, my computer crashed. I reloaded Dplot and got updates on my new computer(Windows 7 64 bit). I bought office 2010 and loaded it on my computer. I added Dplot as an add-in and this when i started having this problem. I was not having this problem with 2007. When I adjusted the array size, Dplot...

Error 7
I'm working with large .csv files (above 500,000 rows) and when I try to plot more than three columns from either Dplot or Excel I'm prompted with a run time error 7 "Not enough Memory". Is this a limitation of Dplot, lack of RAM(2G installed), or an Excel limitation? Is there a work-aroun...

Can you call a .set from VBA?
David, I'm new to VBA programming and just learned how to call the xyyy sub procedure. We just finished testing and have 1000+ csv files that have to be plotted. It would be helpful if the process could be further automated by calling the .set function within Dplot. This may not be possible since th...
