David,
If you remember, I emailed you about the US Army's requirement for a Cetificate of Networthiness (CoN) in order to use your software on their computers. What I did not know is that the Government has to request a CoN, not the software companies.
Our Regiment is preparing to start the effort to purchase and use Dplot on our computers. They will perform the CoN for Dplot, but in order to do so they require a copy of the software to run their virus programs and establish the interactions with other programs to assess vulnerabilities.
In order to perform this task, they require a hard copy of the program. They will not download from your site. With your concurance, we can approach this in one of two way: I have the setup file I can provide them or you can provide me wiith a disk. In either case, they will need a temporary code to activate the program. In addition, I will be forwarding a company questionaire to you that will ask basic question regarding your software (eg. How much bandwidth does your software require?).
If you are interested in getting this Con, please advise me on your thoughts.
Thanks,
Phillip Mathis

I don't mind giving them a permanent license, as they won't be distributing it or for that matter using it. What I would like for you to do is find out if their CoN can be used by other offices/agencies. I still work for the dagnab Army and I can't get a straight answer on this, I suppose because my office doesn't require anything like this. This seems to be coming up more and more often lately and I'd really like to get ahead of this one.

David, I will check on the tranferability of the CoN.
My address is:
Commander, 160th SOAR(A)
Bldg 7244 Nightstalker Way
Ft Campbell, Ky 42223
ATTN: Phillip Mathis(412-8618)
By the way, I received the application checklist. Is there an email address that you would like me to use or is there a portal on this site for uploading? Anyway, the form is standard military hogwash and acronyms. Answer what you can, we will sort the rest out.
Thanks

CoN
David, did Judy ever send you the certificate of networthiness? She also mentioned that there was one more piece of paper work that needed processing: some security form. Anyway, let me know if she hasn't sent it and I'll press her to send it.
The entire team is pleased with your product and it's nice to finally be able to complete my work on my WORK computer. Thanks for your assitance.
Phil

She asked for that information roughly a month ago and I replied. I haven't heard from her since then.
