I was wondering is there a way to show grid lines on one axis only? I wanted to print a graph using only y-axis grid lines but couldn't find a way in the grid lines menu. It appears that you have an option of axis, both x & y, or tic's. My work around was to add reverence lines at the desired interval but that's a bit cumbersome.

There's no way to do that currently, sorry (other than what you've already found).
