Can't use the down or right arrow in 3D Scatter Plots

Post by Lurking »

Not sure it's a bug, but before the update I could use ctrl <arrow> to slew the plot around the different axis.

Now I can only slew Left and Right using the Left and Up arrows.

The down arrow seems like it might work, but once you reach plan view you can't go back.

I've tried this on different plots, the most recent being a random set of x,y,z points generated with Excel.

Wait.. there is another update. Checking now.

Nope. Seems that everytime I check for an update it pulls down the same update. 2.2.9.9.

Arrow issue persists. The arrows do work properly in xy plots.

What's the current version? I keep getting 2.2.9.9 each time and the arrow issue is still there. The cursor flashes as if it's reading from the keyboard but nothing happens. It might be that "up" is being acted on incorrectly since it slews right.

BTW, I'm using Dplot generated values now so that sort of eliminates Excel.

Hmm... rebooted, reinstalled, still have the 2.2.9.9 version, still have the issue.

Puzzling. But I'm patient.

Okay, now your weirding me out.

I had checked it just before my last post, still an issue, I read your last, do an update and now it says I already have the latest. Bumed, I check and now the error is gone.

Apparently without downloading anything.

Spooky.

Thanks for your quick response. (got to be a Mississippi thing, I grew up in Jackson)
