Change color background between reference line

Hello.

I want to change the color background only in one area defined by two reference lines, one ref. line with some X value and another ref. line with some Y value.

I try Fill between curves but I did not find the X values only Y.

DPLOT citation in academic paper

Gents

How is the best way to mention DPLOT in a academic paper? I am using DPLOT to estimate area and volume variation. Do exist a paper that supports DPLOT area and volume algoritm?

thaks in advance

Now $AREA worked in 3D surface

Gents

I updated to 2.3.0.2 and I was able to find the area of 3D surface using $AREA - thanks!!

First, I foun area equal to 1962 mm2 and the projectec area is 1960 mm2. Very good! After acid etching the area of same surface increase to a 2116,8 mm2 or a 7,5% area increase however another program ...

Adding X, Y, Z axes in 3D plot

Gents

I would like suggest you add an option that allow the visualization of X, Y and Z axes directions in a 3D plot (countor option - 3D view). I mean that in the bottom left corner of the picture it appear three little axes showing the X, Y and Z directions in the main picture.

$AREA did not work. I open box text and in Title wrote Area = $AREA. The output was Area = 0.

Area form a 3D surface

Hello!

I realize that it is possible calculate the volume using Volume under Surface in the 3D Surfce plot. And how about the area? How is it calculated?

Thanks
