That fixed it. Now it prints and I am able to use distiller to pdf it. The "Arial Unicode MS" is the default font for the legend because I did not choose it. You might want to change that.
I see "Adobe PDF" as a printer, not distiller. It was not working with the other font but works now.

I am using XP SP1 and a postscript printer, a Canon C3200 color printer.

With 1.9.9.5, when I print a plot the legend text is rotated 90 degrees. Is there any way around this? I am not using a Legend title or curve label just the legend.
